About the position
The Strategic Account Executive at Comcast will play a crucial role in the Cybersecurity business unit, focusing on selling SaaS and subscription security solutions to large enterprises and federal government clients. This position involves driving new business, building relationships, and influencing go-to-market strategies for innovative security solutions like DataBee. The role requires a blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and a consultative approach to meet customer needs and solve complex security challenges.
Responsibilities
- Drive new business with global accounts based in the United States.
- Become a trusted advisor to prospect accounts and existing customers.
- Link Comcast's technology to solid business cases.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Product Management, and Product Marketing.
- Generate opportunities using creative ideas, tools, and joint marketing initiatives.
- Win deals through planning and a consultative approach to solving business problems.
- Utilize past experience and business judgment to drive growth in the security and compliance segment.
Requirements
- Experience selling SaaS security enterprise technology.
- Ability to handle complex sales cycles with a similar sized account batch.
- Affinity for software, particularly in IT security.
- Experience in net new logo accomplishments and value selling.
- Strong focus on pipeline generation and opportunity progression.
- Desire to be coached with a structured approach to sales.
- Ability to leverage internal resources and partners effectively.
- Willingness to meet customers and prospects face-to-face.
