Job Title: Store Supervisor Department: Retail operations Reports To: Store Manager Classification: Non-Exempt EEO-1 Category: Laborers and Helpers Safety Sensitive: Yes Supervises: N/A Job Summary Store Supervisors serve as lead workers in the day-to-day activities of the sales floor, donation door operations, and donated goods processing. They are accountable for the store operations while acting as manager on duty. Operations include the collection of donations,processing, pricing, stocking, performing register transactions, and handling donated goods overall to meet expected goals at every step of the process. This position requires a strong customer focus, operating with minimum supervision, and understanding business demands.

  • Ability to successfully perform all duties of a Retail Associate
  • Train, coach, and provide feedback to help staff strengthen and develop skills
  • Ensure store staff follows policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate leadership and positive role modeling for retail staff.
  • Report loss control concerns to the General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager in a timely manner
  • Effectively manage time and monitor retail staff time to ensure that work is completed
  • Assume responsibility and accountability for the completion of job duties and meet production goals
  • Perform bank deposits and related cash-handling duties
  • Fill in for store staff as needed
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Assign tasks and supervise Retail Associate and Team Lead performance while acting as manager on duty
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of experience in a lead capacity and/or quality control or oversight, preferably in a retail establishment
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint,Outlook, Excel; and point-of-sale software
  • Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Requires CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification within six months of employment
  • Requires proficiency with the Google business platform and/or Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel and the ability to utilize other software such as payroll and point of sale
  • Requires a valid driver’s license, safe driving record, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
  • Maintains confidentiality of information related to LLGI operations, financial matters and personnel matters.
  • Works independently while fostering a strong team atmosphere.
  • Conveys information clearly through verbal and written communication.
