About the position

The Retail Salesperson - Clothing at Wilco Stores is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the clothing and footwear department. This role involves assisting customers with product inquiries, maintaining the department's organization and cleanliness, and supporting the clothing area specialist. The position also includes cashiering duties and operating a forklift as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and product information on the store sales floor.
• Order, stock, sign, and merchandise departmental products as directed by the store manager utilizing established procedures.
• Ring up, carry out, and load farm store merchandise.
• Maintain department orderliness and cleanliness utilizing established standards.
• Cashiering and other store, yard, or warehouse tasks.
• Open and close farm stores as directed by managers.
• Operate forklift as needed to provide customer service.
• Maintain and comply with established retail standards.

Requirements

• The skill to operate a computer and other automated office machines.
• The ability to interact successfully with customers and co-workers.
• The ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sales approaches, methods, and techniques.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
