About the position

The Project Management Manager for Wholesale at Brobston Group is responsible for overseeing the development of high-end retail locations across multiple sites. This role requires exceptional project management skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering luxury experiences that meet the highest standards. The manager will lead the construction process from planning to final handover, ensuring alignment with project vision and objectives while maintaining quality and financial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end construction process for multiple luxury retail projects, from initial planning to final handover.
  • Engage with clients, architects, designers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project vision and objectives.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining quality and luxury standards.
  • Create detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure all work aligns with luxury brand specifications and industry standards.
  • Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may arise during the construction process, minimizing disruptions to project timelines.
  • Source and manage relationships with high-quality subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the best materials and services are utilized.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for stakeholders, documenting milestones, challenges, and financial status.
  • Willing to make regular site visits on a monthly basis across North America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in luxury retail construction or high-end commercial projects.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of luxury retail standards, construction processes, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED certification.
  • Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles.
  • Knowledge of local construction regulations, permits and approval processes.
  • Experience with construction contract negotiations and claims management.
  • Familiarity with lean construction principles and methodologies.
  • Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control.
