About the position

As a Store Associate at ALDI, you will play a vital role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through effective merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. This full-time position requires collaboration with team members to provide exceptional customer service and support store operations.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and stock products in the store.
• Process customer purchases and operate the cash register efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Provide feedback to management regarding products, inventory losses, and general issues.
• Participate in taking store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring the security and confidentiality of documents and data.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to safely operate equipment such as electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
