About the position
Our General Managers take complete ownership of their store and are able to carry a sense of pride with his/her role. Our GMs oversee day to day operations, as they will set goals for growth and design a strategy to achieve those goals. This person is responsible for building and leading their team/store to success. Ultimately, the main goal for a General Manager is to lead their crew in a positive and professional environment, to ensure exceptional customer service is given with each visit, and to do those things while ensuring the custard that is being served is to the highest of standards! Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day operations and set goals for growth.
- Design strategies to achieve operational goals.
- Build and lead the team/store to success.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided.
- Mentor and grow assistant managers for promotion opportunities.
- Maintain communication with store staff and ensure timely responses.
- Display a 'customer comes first' attitude.
- Monitor and manage store staffing levels.
- Follow and reinforce company policies and procedures.
- Work hands-on during all shifts to support guests and staff.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven management experience in the food service industry or related leadership role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Solid employment track record with positive references.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and full of energy.
- Must lead by example and uphold high standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have open availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
