About the position

The Store Manager at CNG Holdings, Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and profitability of one or more retail locations, including Check ‘N Go, Allied Cash, or Cash Store. This role focuses on site operations, sales, customer service, and leadership within the store, ensuring that customer needs are met while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting all options for products and/or services.
  • Interact with customers using active listening skills to confirm or clarify information and diffuse complaints.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the District Director of Operations and Corporate Office.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries regarding general questions, applications, requests, and sales.
  • Handle and count currency, manage a cash drawer, and perform cash handling requirements including bank deposits.
  • Balance individual batch receipts with store sales reports at the end of the day.
  • Perform customer verifications to validate information presented.
  • Process all transactions accurately per company policy, including loans and check cashing.
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate operations, development, and training necessary for achieving metric targets.
  • Maintain store staff schedule and assist in covering other stores within the district.
  • Support store staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales culture.
  • Assist in recruiting, selecting, and onboarding Assistant Store Managers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, and cash handling.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service, active listening, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
  • Must have reliable personal transportation and a valid Driver's License.
