About the position

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) position at CVS Health is a development-focused role designed to prepare individuals for a future Store Manager position. The program spans 16 weeks and includes both virtual and hands-on learning experiences aimed at enhancing leadership skills and store management capabilities. Participants will receive support from various team members, including a District Leader and a Store Manager coach, to facilitate their growth and development as future store leaders.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to support and lead the team.
• Perform customer care duties to ensure high levels of service.
• Execute merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.
• Engage actively with leaders in Key Learning Experiences to support promotion efforts during the program.
• Support the store as a management team member and lead in alignment with CVS values and policies.
• Encourage colleagues to support the company's mission of helping people on their path to better health.
• Be open to accepting promotional roles within the market.

Requirements
