About the position

Bargain Hunt is seeking Leaders in Training (Store Manager in Training) who will play a crucial role in our dynamic management pipeline. Candidates should have at least 2 years of retail management experience and will be responsible for overseeing store operations in collaboration with the Store Leader. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow within the company while contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall store management including sales performance and personnel oversight.
• Participate in the interviewing and training process for new team members.
• Actively manage performance issues and recruit prospective leadership candidates.
• Maintain store appearance to company standards, including merchandise presentation, signage, stock levels, and recovery.
• Foster a positive work environment and contribute to team morale.
• Take on the role of primary Manager on Duty when necessary, including store opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2 years in retail management preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional communication abilities and effectiveness in diverse situations.
• Capability to multitask effectively, especially in high-stress scenarios.
