About The Position

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. has an outstanding opportunity for a Store Equipment & Facility Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all company facilities and equipment. The position leads facility maintenance strategies, vendor partnerships, and capital planning initiatives to support store operations, enhance asset longevity, and deliver a safe, compliant, and high-performing environment.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and facility operations
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts and service agreements
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, capital projects, and competing priorities
  • Strong organizational project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across all levels
  • Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • This role does require a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • A bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business, engineering, construction management, or related field preferred
  • Experience in retail grocery facilities, equipment and operations
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their application in retail environments
  • An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered

Responsibilities

  • Facility maintenance and operations by ensuring building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing and safety systems) are properly maintained and fully operational
  • Conduct inspections and implement preventative maintenance programs
  • Develop and execute long term strategies for facility assets and equipment replacement
  • Lead short term and long-term refrigeration strategies, including retrofit planning and system optimization
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure quality and compliance with company standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (OSHA, ADA, fire codes, etc.)
