The Store Associate position at CVS Health is a customer-focused role that plays a vital part in delivering exceptional service and support within a retail environment. Responsibilities

• Providing differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues.
• Greeting customers warmly, maintaining eye contact, and assisting them in locating items.
• Accurately performing cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and managing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Supporting opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Providing customer support across all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assisting pharmacy personnel and working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development opportunities.
• Advocating for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Close visual acuity for tasks such as viewing a computer terminal and reading.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
