About the position
Devon Oaks Assisted Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) for both full-time and part-time positions. The role involves providing essential support to residents in a caring environment, focusing on person-centered care. The STNAs will work evening shifts from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a requirement to work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in activities of daily living, including rising, showering, dressing, oral care, peri-care, ambulating, and going to meals.
- Make general observations of residents' conditions.
- Maintain cleanliness of residents' apartments between scheduled housekeeping.
- Wash residents' personal laundry and linens.
- Escort residents to appointments.
- Inform co-workers of resident status at change of shift.
- Regularly visit with residents to provide companionship, interaction, and emotional support.
Requirements
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant license.
- Valid First Aid Certification.
- Experience in patient care.
