About The Position

Skilled Trades Partners is currently recruiting for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established and growing structural steel contractor seeking an experienced Steel Project Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection who is looking for long-term stability, challenging projects, and career growth.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction
• Strong knowledge of structural and miscellaneous steel projects
• Experience with steel fabrication and erection processes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with project management software

Nice To Haves

• Experience with BIM or welding/fabrication is a plus

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively
• Communicate with clients, engineers, architects, and field teams
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Oversee structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection processes
• Maintain project documentation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations
