About The Position
Temple University's Main Campus Facilities Department is searching for a Steam/Pipefitter II (Multi-craft). This position provides all services to maintain, repair, install, and replace any and all piping, valves, fittings, gaskets and pumps associated with the steam, chill, hydronic heat, and processed water systems of Temple University. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education must be equivalent to the completion of High School, trade school or completion of an accredited apprenticeship required.
- Must have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience with steam and chill systems.
- Must have rigging experience to work safely in all situations.
- Must be proficient in all manners of cutting and welding all applicable materials.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Motor vehicle drivers license check.
- Drug screening and a physical.
