This position involves ensuring product freshness, maintaining food safety standards, and executing various food and beverage processes. The Barista is expected to engage with guests, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a welcoming environment while working as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by connecting with guests and prioritizing their needs.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of Food and Beverage Standards and Starbucks brand standards.
• Execute food and beverage processes including deliveries, replenishment, and inventory management.
• Maintain awareness of promotional activities within Starbucks and follow routines to ensure a consistent experience.
• Support the Starbucks Drive Up process for accurate and timely fulfillment of digital orders.
• Maintain an inviting dining area for guests throughout the day.
• Engage with guests to understand their needs and provide tailored assistance.
• Monitor and record temperature-sensitive food items as per best practices.
• Complete all required Starbucks trainings related to quality control and safety compliance.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and order pick up.

Requirements

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate technology equipment as directed.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
