Responsibilities

• Manage project work including business plans, new model initiatives, and end-of-life equipment projects.
• Conduct problem-solving and root cause analysis by gathering data and visiting sites to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Analyze current equipment conditions and operating characteristics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance department KPIs such as run rate, throughput, and material reduction.
• Support investigations for new model projects.
• Maintain communication with other facilities to reduce duplicate workloads and collaborate on global stamping activities.
• Assist maintenance teams with troubleshooting chronic and catastrophic downtimes.
• Generate documentation to promote sustainability, including 'How To' documents and procedures.
• Apply engineering standards and Honda quality systems to ensure compliance and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent engineering experience.
• 0-6 years of experience depending on education level.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects and ensure deliverables are met.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as ACAD, CATIA, and Office programs.
• Experience in data collection and analysis on-site.
• Hands-on support experience with manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to create and track project schedules.
• Good interpersonal skills to function effectively in a team environment.
• Quick learning ability for new skills.
