About the position
The Staffing Coordinator (Scheduler) at Devoted Guardians Home Care is responsible for matching caregivers with clients in a busy home care environment. This role is essential for ensuring that seniors receive the care they need to remain in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in scheduling within a home care setting and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Schedule the appropriate Caregiver with the appropriate Client
- Read and interpret plans of care
- Update clients
- Review plans of care with Caregivers
- Speak with Client's family members about concerns and/or schedule changes
- Speak with Case Managers about concerns and/or schedule changes
- Read and interpret authorizations
Requirements
- Scheduling/staffing experience in a home care environment
- Competent computer skills
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask
- Good phone etiquette
- Great work ethic
- Excellent time management skills
