About the position

The Staffing Coordinator, Advanced, plays a crucial role in the Talent Acquisition Team at Blue Shield of California, focusing on hiring, developing, and mobilizing top talent. This position involves coordinating interview schedules, managing the new hire process, and supporting various business units with their recruiting needs, ensuring a superior experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

Responsibilities

• Support and execute high-volume business unit specific hiring plans.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and staffing activities for all interviews, both on-site and virtually.
• Facilitate the new hire process, including completing new hire transactions in the Applicant Tracking System and initiating background checks.
• Produce weekly updates to the Talent Acquisition Team regarding new hires.
• Manage the interview scheduling process and collect feedback within the Applicant Tracking System.
• Track and communicate updates to Talent Advisors and new hires.
• Complete the I-9 onboarding process for new hires.
• Coordinate with the Service team to ensure all new hire data is correct and complete on a weekly basis.
• Work closely with Talent Advisors to ensure timely hiring for all new hires.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 5 years of prior relevant experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with scheduling complex interviews through Outlook preferred.
• Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience highly recommended.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work effectively in a high-demand environment.
• Agile personality ready to adjust to a fast-paced work environment.
