About the position

As a Healthcare Recruiter and Business Development Specialist at Interim HealthCare, you will play a pivotal role in our staffing and recruitment department. This position is designed for a dynamic individual who possesses a comprehensive understanding of agency staffing and recruitment, coupled with a strong business development acumen. Your primary focus will be on expanding our lines of business through effective recruitment strategies, digital media engagement, branding initiatives, community outreach, and sales efforts. This is a full-time position based in North Charleston, South Carolina, and requires you to work in the office, emphasizing the importance of local presence and community involvement. In this role, you will assist in developing strategic recruiting plans that utilize creative and cost-effective methods tailored to the healthcare sector. You will be responsible for implementing targeted recruitment strategies and establishing best practices to enhance our recruitment efforts. A significant aspect of your role will involve leading the candidate relationship process, which is crucial for improving candidate experience, retention rates, and generating referrals. You will also create engaging recruitment marketing materials, including job descriptions, live events, and campaigns designed to attract candidates to our organization. Your responsibilities will extend to coordinating recruitment advertising, conducting employment verifications, and managing the full credentialing process for healthcare providers. You will assist in maintaining accurate information within our staffing scheduling platform and support staffing assignment matching. Additionally, you will develop and manage our digital marketing strategy, which encompasses our website, social media presence, online review management, and content creation such as blogs and success stories. You will conduct market analyses to identify growth opportunities within our staffing service line and develop relationships with prospective clients. Establishing community partnerships for staffing sales and preparing presentations to promote Interim HealthCare will also be key components of your role. Overall, you will be instrumental in implementing account development strategies to secure growth in our staffing business line while completing other assignments as requested.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing strategic recruiting plans utilizing creative and cost-effective methods.
  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Assist in establishing best practice recruitment efforts and adjust recruitment strategy as needed.
  • Lead the candidate relationship process to improve candidate experience, retention rates, and solicit referrals.
  • Create engaging recruitment marketing materials, including job descriptions and live events.
  • Assist with coordinating recruitment advertising, including creating and posting job openings.
  • Conduct employment verifications and full credentialing processes.
  • Assist with all aspects of staffing schedule and implementation of staffing scheduling platform.
  • Maintain accurate information in staffing scheduling platform and assist with staffing assignment matching.
  • Create and update client information sheets for internal files and staffing employees.
  • Verify licensures and credentials for nurses and other healthcare providers.
  • Manage all electronic onboarding processes and timelines.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of Digital Marketing Strategy, including website and social media.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop community partnerships for staffing sales/contracts.
  • Establish and maintain contacts with referral sources for staffing.
  • Prepare and conduct presentations regarding Interim HealthCare to prospective clients.
  • Implement account development strategies/contracts to secure growth in staffing business line.
  • Complete other assignments as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related subject or equivalent years of training and work experience.
  • Five years of successful recruitment, marketing, and sales experience, preferably in healthcare services.
  • Agency sales experience in clinical staffing with extensive knowledge of the Charleston market.
  • Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with medical staffing and recruitment, referral sources, and market.
  • Computer and Internet literacy.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • Ability to accomplish goals under short deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team.
