About the position

Responsible for ensuring timely recruiting efforts to support organizational needs. Create, update and post job vacancies, process and screen applicants, including entering applicant information and preparing related reports for tracking purposes. The first point of contact for receiving and screening applications, works with management organization-wide to draft job-related interview material, and provide advisement on and/or participate in interviews. Uses various recruitment methods and resources, stays abreast on recruitment trends. Collaborates internally and externally to fill staff vacancies. This is a hybrid opportunity, and will be required to report to the Atwater Administration site two to three times per week. Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Compensation: $78,977.50 - $82,926.48 Annual Salary.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Coordinate all talent management activities with all staff and providers, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Source high-performance candidates through personal telephone and networking efforts, including attendance of job fairs, appropriate graduate school advisory board representation, and other related recruitment functions.
  • Develop and execute personal time management plan on a monthly basis to ensure priority vacancies are being sourced to proactively meet the needs of GVHC.
  • Review applications received on a weekly basis, daily if urgent, to ensure effective screening based on job requirements.
  • Forward pre-screened applications to hiring managers on a weekly basis, obtaining feedback on submissions.
  • Upload and maintain vacancies on the organization and externally designated websites.
  • Identify challenges with talent sourcing for tough to fill roles, and present options that align to gain relevant talent.
  • Effectively and proactively build a pipeline of qualified professionals through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
  • Identify and attract passive candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Ensure the timely filling of open vacancies, keeping managers apprised of efforts taken to identify talent.
  • Screen applications, ensuring all qualifications, i.e., education, experience, and licensing requirements are met prior to submitting for consideration.
  • Drafts lawful and job-related interview questions to narrow pool of applicants to those best qualified based on position requirements.
  • Consistently adheres to and/or exceeds GVHC's communication guidelines and expectations with patients, peers, applicants and supervisors.
  • Ensure PRF's (Personnel Requisition Forms) have the appropriate review and approval prior to posting of the position.
  • Promote GVHC's efforts to be the Employer of Choice through community engagements, candidate interaction, and partnerships.
  • Partners with management to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the GVHC and to deliver best talent in the organization.
  • Run pre-employment screenings, distribute Conditional Offer Letters (COE), and submit new hire follow-ups to HR Staff.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external staff, providers, and outside entities.
  • Track recruitment and marketing results through various reports and maintains log of recruiting efforts.
  • Performs administrative functions and other duties as needed or assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Medical/Dental/Behavioral Health/Therapy/Pharmacy/IT/Finance recruitment experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
  • Ability to judge character both in person, via emails and telephone conversations.
  • Meet deadlines, ability to excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Excellent follow-through during the recruitment process.
  • Valid California driver's license, vehicle insurance, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Travel required to sites and job fairs, and occasional overnight stay when traveling long distance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous healthcare recruitment experience preferred.
