About the position

At Underdog, we are looking for a passionate product manager to join our team. You will work closely with the growth marketing team to build and optimize our games, ensuring best-in-class experiences for our fantasy customers. This role involves collaborating across all teams to enhance their surfaces and testing practices, serving as a center of excellence for A/B testing and measurement. You will set product strategy, identify and introduce new growth and onboarding products, and ensure that our existing games provide great end-to-end experiences for customers. Additionally, you will lead stand-ups, grooming, planning, and retro sessions with your development team, set success metrics for new features/products, and track metrics post-launch to guide iterative improvements. Your role will also involve active cross-team collaboration, creating new processes when necessary, and ensuring design & engineering are engaged stakeholders in all product initiatives. You will maintain a thorough understanding of responsible gaming best practices and keep up to date with the latest developments in the fantasy product space and the competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage design & engineering stakeholders in all product initiatives.

  • Stay updated with developments in the fantasy product space and competitive environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • A passionate player of fantasy sports, OSB products, or similar.
  • Experience launching A/B tests and exploring new creative methods.
  • Familiarity with Amplitude, Segment, Braze, Branch, Appsflyer, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience building growth/funnel products.
  • Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative information to identify product improvements.
  • An experimentation mindset with clear hypotheses for validation.
  • Expertise in transforming conflicting inputs into actionable plans.
  • Ability to create a culture of inclusion and empathy within the team.
