About the position
Kinetic Events Staffing is seeking an onsite Staff Manager for a seasonal program at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens, running from November 18 to January 5. This role involves overseeing staff during a seven-week outdoor light show, ensuring a positive work environment, and managing various operational tasks. The position offers evening shifts and is ideal for individuals looking for work during the holiday season.
Responsibilities
- Track attendance and manage staff breaks.
- Handle incidents and conflicts that arise during events.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Complete daily event recaps and reports.
- Greet attendees and provide directions and wayfinding assistance.
- Assist with parking and crowd management.
- Manage a team of 12-16 staff members per shift.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in experiential marketing and/or events.
- History of leadership or managerial roles.
- Ability to work outdoors exclusively for the duration of the event.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and interacting with large crowds.
Nice-to-haves
- Friendly, reliable, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Availability to work on Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
