About The Position

Stackers get our packaged product ready for our customers by putting together cases and pallets. Stackers must be safety-minded, have good attention to detail and must be able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to follow directions
Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced, labor intensive manufacturing environment
Ability to perform basic math skills
Effectively communicate questions, problems, and reports to co-workers, supervisory, and management personnel
Flexibility to accommodate unscheduled changes in duties and work overtime as needed
Display a positive attitude and work well with all levels of personnel
Ability to lift up to 50lbs continuously

Responsibilities

Packs the correct product and number of bagged products into boxes according to customer orders for shipment.
Constructs boxes or containers.
Stacks finished boxes onto pallets safely and efficiently.
Places month sticker and product production tag on each pallet.
Ensures supplies are readily available for the Packaging Machine Operator.
Completes required paperwork such as pallet tags.
Transports needed packaging materials to the production area.
Breaks up unusable packaged product when required.
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
During downtime, ensure the cleanliness of the work area and/or assist other machine operators.
Assists machine operator with loading packaging material onto machine.
Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms and safety policies.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
