About the position

As a Senior Transportation Strategy Deployment Manager at Hach, you will provide strategic leadership for global transportation initiatives, driving cross-functional teams to execute planning and fulfillment strategies that promote growth and efficiency. This role involves collaboration with various business functions to ensure the success of key transportation projects, all while working in a flexible, family-friendly environment that values both its people and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple global transportation projects with significant business impact.
  • Develop and implement new strategies to enhance visibility, productivity, and strategic execution.
  • Establish performance metrics for carriers and report monthly data to regional teams.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices and share innovative solutions and collaborative opportunities.
  • Integrate new acquisitions, align with global/regional strategies, and train associates on sourcing tools and processes.
  • Implement standard work practices, including the creation and update of the TLM VES Playbook.
  • Manage project execution through daily action planning and KPI tracking.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across manufacturing, warehousing, commercial, and IT to drive project completion.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized global transportation project funnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in the Transportation or Warehousing industry, with a strong understanding of planning and logistics.
  • Experience in Transport Management, Freight Management Systems, Data Analytics, Project Management, and Warehouse Management.
  • Solid supply chain and logistics knowledge, with experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including visual project management, action planning, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate with global teams to adapt transportation and logistics strategies to meet regional needs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading process change or system development projects.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, Warehousing operations, Planning, Transportation, and Customs.
