About the position

The Sr. Strategist, Acquisition Program Management will lead the cross-functional efforts to orchestrate and influence acquisition performance across channels, products, and partnerships. In partnership with project sponsors, the individual will coordinate cross-functional teams to drive growth and ensure close coordination across all Bread stakeholder teams (Client Partnerships, Marketing, Risk, Finance, Analytics, Digital, Tech). In addition, the Sr. Strategist will act as a business sponsor for the 'Apply & Buy' value stream, advising Digital and Technology partners on acquisition capability development, digital channel conversion improvement, and digital wallet initiatives. The role will also be responsible for acquisition performance management, ensuring the organization has visibility on account acquisition trends and growth opportunities. The Sr. Strategist should proactively identify and lead cross-functional teams to implement new growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Operating Model as a Business Functional Leader, ensuring product and technology resources for Apply and Buy Value Stream are aligned with Bread's strategic goals.
  • Proactively identify new initiatives and drive efficiencies by finding areas of opportunity to achieve new account targets.
  • Supports, and leads as appropriate, the coordination of leadership materials to ensure organization has visibility on acquisition trends, opportunities, and progress to goals.
  • Proactively monitor acquisition performance trends across partners, products, and channels.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to influence, maximize, and orchestrate acquisition efforts.
  • Collaborate with MCOE, Digital, Risk, Fraud, Client Partnerships, and other cross-functional team leads to define product project requirements in support of business cases to launch new channel features and capabilities.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop and optimize acquisition marketing strategies and campaigns.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8+ years financial services experience leading cross-functional teams; prior channel/digital, marketing and/or digital product experience; experience optimizing resources and investments for campaigns and across projects

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 8+ years experience in credit card product management and marketing
  • Experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to influence, maximize, and orchestrate acquisition efforts with a consultative approach.
