About the position

The Sr. Solutions Architect, Sales at Snowflake is a pivotal role within the Professional Services team, focusing on both selling and delivering Snowflake Professional Services engagements. This position requires a hands-on, self-starter who excels in solving innovative problems in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will effectively connect business challenges with Snowflake's solutions, communicating this vision to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors to customers.
  • Position yourself as a Trusted Advisor to key customer stakeholders with a focus on achieving their desired Business Outcomes.
  • Partner with Professional Services Practice Directors and Practice Managers to drive successful project delivery.
  • Engage with customers to understand their business needs and align Snowflake solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for Professional Services engagements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics technologies and cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in consulting or professional services delivery.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
