About the position
The Sr. QA Analyst/SDET role focuses on ensuring the quality of software through automation testing. The individual will be responsible for creating test scenarios, working independently, and utilizing coding skills in .NET or Java. The position requires experience in various testing tools and methodologies, particularly in an Agile environment, to enhance the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute automated test scenarios
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Utilize coding skills in .NET or Java for test automation
- Query and create data from SQL / DB2
- Conduct API testing and security testing
- Collaborate with development teams using Agile methodologies
- Utilize tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Azure DevOps for testing
- Develop both positive and negative test scenarios for automated testing
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA and automation testing
- Proficiency in Selenium, Agile, Azure DevOps, and JMeter
- Strong coding skills in Java or .NET
- Good communication skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or OpenShift
- Knowledge of MS SQL and/or DB2 SQL
- Familiarity with API testing and REST
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration
- Knowledge of security testing practices
