About the position

Carelon's Contact Center Strategy Organization is seeking a Project Manager Sr. Reporting to the Staff VP of Strategic Initiatives, this role will manage multiple technology projects of varying sizes and duration, and the work will incorporate both the business and technical aspects of the project. This position can work in a hybrid way, remote and in office once a week, from any US Elevance Health corporate work location.

Responsibilities

  • Applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems
  • Coaching and mentoring project team members
  • Determining project scope; developing resource, risk, quality, cost, and scope management plans
  • Developing training plans; developing requirements documents; developing project approval matrix
  • Identifying project team training and tool needs
  • Defining, recommending and securing contractual agreements for services and products; coordinating requirements, schedules implementation and post-implement plans, and developing service-level agreements for vendor partners and global resources firms
  • Defining quality gates for each project methodology phase; defining critical success factors; and establishing and managing the project warranty period

Requirements

  • BA/BS in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years professional project management experience, with at least 3 years leading and directing project tasks

Nice-to-haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience with Project management, managing high-value technology projects across a matrix enterprise, preferably a healthcare enterprise working with patients, providers, payers, and the related technologies and platforms
  • Experience leading technology projects such as CRM implementations, IVR automation, chatbot installations, AI-powered knowledge management, and other contact center technology - in an operational business
