About the position

This position is responsible for overseeing the SharePoint implementation within the division, including its architecture, configuration, governance, operation, maintenance, and ongoing support. The role involves working closely with clients to assess their needs, develop specifications for solutions, and provide training on SharePoint usage and administration. The individual will also guide governance and collaboration strategies for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the SharePoint 2013 Farm for the division, including administration, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Maintain the SharePoint environment, including daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
  • Participate in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new SharePoint based initiatives.
  • Serve as the lead technical resource for other site owners, developers, and end users, including creating site collections, sites, and any objects to support users' needs and solutions.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve process efficiency.
  • Interface with customers to determine requirements, resolve problems, and perform testing.
  • Analyze system and program requirements for complex projects.
  • Identify multiple solutions to complex problems.
  • Design and develop specifications for complex or cross-functional systems and data structures.
  • Analyze and recommend tools.
  • Plan and complete complex IT projects.
  • Champion standards, SOX, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of software development and research tools.
  • Prepare presentations and lead meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on divisional needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or technically related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience.
  • 3-5 years' experience working with the SharePoint platform (with recent experience using SharePoint 2013) in an administrative capacity.
  • Development experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, Workflow, and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SQL server.
  • Strong understanding of MS SharePoint Architecture.
