CGI Federal is currently seeking a Program Manager with active Top-Secret clearances to support a large project for a federal government client. This position can be filled in the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
Conduct program planning, validate program financials and project documentation, define and manage project resources, and provide project support.
Lead a large team of functional managers.
Be responsible for the overall success of the project by meeting scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
Lead client-facing meetings related to requirements, solutions design, and status updates.
Resolve issues critical to project success and ensure corrective actions are in place to address any non-conformances.
Monitor and evaluate contract deliverables for operational effectiveness, functionality, cost, efficiency, benefits, and compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Minimum of 8-10 years' experience as a Program Manager.
Exceptional program management skills covering the full software development and implementation lifecycle.
Previous team or project leadership experience translating client needs into product backlog, work plans, and schedules.
Ability to create presentations and deliverables independently, delegate work, run internal and external meetings, oversee team activities, mentor team members, resolve issues, and communicate effectively with CGI and client management.
Progressive IT experience in the proposed functional category with oversight or management of at least one project following CMM certified, Agile, and ITIL approaches.
Proven experience supervising large IT services contracts with various job categories and skills.
Expertise in cost and resource management with demonstrated capability in managing projects of similar type and complexity.
Experience in providing system modernization and innovation leading to increased operational efficiency or cost savings.
Linux Admin, VMWare vSphere 6/7 experience, SPLUNK Server administration, Dell Server, and SAN Storage hardware experience.
Experience with Docker, Microsoft SQL, Oracle databases, Angular, JavaScript including Ember.js, Spring Boot, Spring, in addition to a focus on cloud skillsets, specifically AWS solution architecture.
Strong Oracle database and MS SQL experience is required.
Active Top-Secret clearance.
