About the position

The Senior Manager of People Strategy, Product & Operations plays a critical role in translating vision into execution across the People & Places (P&P) organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Operations, this leader drives alignment, prioritization, and delivery of key strategic initiatives—connecting people strategy, operational effectiveness, and technology enablement. In this role, you'll own and evolve the roadmap for core HR platforms (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, internal tools), lead planning and governance processes, and coordinate cross-functional operating rhythms to ensure initiatives are scalable, people-centered, and outcome-driven. By applying product thinking, data insights, and process optimization, you'll partner closely with COEs, PBPs, and Enterprise Technology to deliver frictionless, high-impact solutions that enhance the employee experience and enable People & Places to operate at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for core HR platforms and digital tools, aligned with business and people priorities.
  • Act as a product owner for one or more experiences (e.g., onboarding, performance, career development), shaping backlog, requirements, and release planning.
  • Lead the intake and evaluation process for new tech and enhancement requests; ensure clear prioritization and governance.
  • Partner with UX, People Analytics, and Tech to incorporate user insights, monitor adoption, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct quarterly roadmap refreshes and alignment sessions with COEs, PBPs, and ETX to ensure responsiveness to changing business needs.
  • Track and report on ROI and performance of people technologies and digital products.
  • Drive strategic alignment across People & Places by coordinating planning, prioritization, and execution of enterprise-wide initiatives and transformations.
  • Serve as a key thought partner to senior HR leaders, helping shape strategic direction and ensure seamless operational delivery.
  • Lead high-impact programs, including HR technology implementations and process redesign efforts, with a focus on scalability, integration, and business value.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across COEs, PBPs, IT, Finance, and Legal to ensure cohesive and aligned solutions.
  • Translate complex transformation initiatives into actionable plans and clear messaging for employees and stakeholders.
  • Partner with Change Management and Comms to deliver toolkits, rollout plans, and engagement strategies that drive adoption and readiness.
  • Define and track success metrics to evaluate impact, surface insights, and continuously improve delivery and performance.
  • Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in HR processes by applying automation, simplification, and digital-first thinking.
  • Lead discovery sessions with COEs, PBPs, and employees to surface pain points and define experience improvements.
  • Use data to inform iteration cycles, define KPIs, and monitor impact on both employee experience and operational performance.
  • Build and manage a cycle of continuous improvement through feedback loops, user testing, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop and deliver high-impact executive communications, aligning strategic goals with business priorities and fostering leadership alignment.
  • Create compelling narratives that translate complex HR data and insights into clear, actionable recommendations that guide executive decision-making.
  • Use data-driven storytelling to facilitate strategic discussions, ensuring clarity and driving business impact across leadership teams.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior leaders, COEs, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and shared ownership of strategic priorities.
  • Effectively manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, ensuring that key initiatives are well-communicated, understood, and embraced.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver on strategic initiatives, ensuring high-quality execution and stakeholder buy-in.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in HR operations, business strategy, technology enablement, or product management within a complex, global organization.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving strategic initiatives, and managing high-impact HR technology projects.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, data-driven narratives for executive audiences and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution—able to balance long-term vision with tactical delivery.
  • Experience in process optimization, driving operational excellence, and leveraging data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management skills, with expertise in leading enterprise-wide initiatives and managing complex, cross-functional programs.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
