About the position

The Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance at Oncor is responsible for managing the company's Continuous Improvement functionalities, including the development and deployment of the Lean Six Sigma program. This role involves oversight of training, tools, and education to sustain Oncor's culture of Continuous Improvement, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and enhancing organizational performance through effective management of improvement models.

Responsibilities

  • Manage activities within the Center for Excellence and Innovation, including planning and oversight of training and tools.
  • Develop and execute key performance indicators aligned with Oncor's strategic objectives.
  • Partner with internal customers to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of innovation efforts.
  • Lead the development of strategies for high performance and customer service through Continuous Improvement.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma (LSS) improvement models to facilitate organizational performance improvements.
  • Oversee Oncor's internal LSS training program and instruct classes as needed.
  • Maintain standards of LSS certification projects and oversee Black Belts and Master Black Belts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent AND 10+ years of work-related experience in project management and continuous improvement tools, including 5+ years of management experience in a quality or Lean Six Sigma organization.
  • Bachelor's degree AND 8+ years of work-related experience in project management and continuous improvement tools, including 4+ years of management experience in a quality or Lean Six Sigma organization.
  • Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification and/or relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional or Change Management are encouraged.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Experience with Minitab statistical software.
