About The Position

Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Senior Manager, Category & Digital Marketing, Popeyes, Canada. By setting an ambitious vision for our menu, loyalty experience, and promotional calendar, the Senior Manager serves as one of the team’s most influential leaders: aligning and coordinating strategy across teams like Product Innovation, Marketing Communications and Media, Restaurant Operations, Digital & Technology, and others to deliver profitable sales and traffic to Popeyes restaurants in Canada. RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week. This position reports to the Sr. Director, Marketing for Popeyes Canada.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree
  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in product/portfolio strategy and/or analytics, management consulting, or similar
  • People management experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in conceptual, analytical problem solving to frame and resolve key business challenges
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills to win alignment and support from peer, leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with or willingness to learn SQL required

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the national Marketing and Digital Calendars for Popeyes Canada, building an ~18+ months of runway, achieving SSS, SST, and restaurant profitability targets
  • Own the integrated Marketing & Digital calendar to grow profitable sales and traffic
  • Track and respond to competitive activity — media strategies, product launches, digital promotions — with timely recommendations that strengthen the plan and protect the business
  • Continuously evaluate and update cross-functional priorities — including with Operations, Supply Chain, Restaurant Technology, and Finance — to maintain an executable, optimized calendar
  • Champion the long-term vision for Popeyes menu and marketing proposition in Canada: Build guest-centered 3- to 5-year roadmaps to establish market dominance in key product categories and guest demographics, owning the ‘4-Ps’ by balancing new product innovation with promotional approach and placement to maximize the full category opportunity; partner with Analytics on pricing
  • Build and adapt convincing business cases to secure alignment from internal and Franchisee stakeholders
  • Balance menu size and category complexity to build a sustainable assortment and architecture, including strategically discontinuing products or product lines where necessary
  • Deliver sustainable growth through first-party loyalty and third-party delivery sales channels
  • Set and advance the overall digital and delivery strategy for Popeyes Canada, overseeing first-party platforms (order ahead, CRM, loyalty), third-party delivery, and in-restaurant digital technology
  • Establish and enriched value proposition for Popeyes Rewards and the Popeyes app in Canada, in partnership with US-based Product and Engineering teams to grow membership and customer lifetime value
  • Lead with an always-on optimization mindset: overseeing A/B testing, performance monitoring, and data-informed iteration across all digital and delivery channels
