About the position

The Sr. Maintenance Manager at Mondelēz International is responsible for leading and developing multi-functional teams to enhance the reliability, productivity, and efficiency of the plant's operations. This role involves creating strategic maintenance and reliability roadmaps, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. The manager will also be accountable for the execution of maintenance programs and the development of team capabilities to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic Maintenance & Reliability roadmap and annual operating plan.
  • Partner with stakeholders to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.
  • Establish governance to review and control the effectiveness of the Maintenance & Reliability program.
  • Lead maintenance and repairs execution, reliability, and facilities & utilities programs.
  • Ensure adherence to business continuity plans and manufacturing standards.
  • Provide leadership and coaching for the implementation of Integrated Lean 6 Sigma practices.
  • Build skills across the Plant technical team and create a succession plan for talent development.
  • Interface with key stakeholders to align priorities and deliver company objectives.
  • Manage production and facility maintenance to optimize resource use and funding.
  • Champion a proactive maintenance culture and ensure necessary skillsets are developed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a Maintenance role, with at least 8 years in leadership positions.
  • Strong operational, manufacturing, and maintenance leadership experience in the CPG industry.
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment, including PM expertise and SAP PM module knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem-solving, and team building.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience with Proactive Maintenance and other TPM or related Integrated Lean Six Sigma reliability programs.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Experience in engaging with government authorities and professional associations.
