This position will oversee target trade lanes between Mexico, United States, and other EFW trading partners globally to and from Mexico. The position will also lead EFW Mexico operations, EFW Mexico sales personnel, and focus on Mexico business development opportunities along with marketing strategies. The Sr. Director, Mexico Operations will visit key U.S. and Mexican markets to analyze local operations and local conditions. The Sr. Director, Mexico Operations will partner with the EFW sales department to win new business and communicate with our operation leaders on Mexican market conditions, business observations, and customer feedback. Finally, the position will develop and maintain vendor relationships to increase capacity to accommodate sales within this trade lane. Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job specific software applications.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8-10 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and Manage the Financial and P&L ownership of the current EFW Mexico division.
  • Manage EFW Mexico operations and sales personnel.
  • Collaborate with Estes Express Mexico division to develop new/joint business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a regional share of business for international clients within Mexico.
  • Lead the sales team across the organization to sell customized solutions to and from Mexico for airfreight, trans-border FTL and LTL, rail, customs brokerage, ocean freight, and drayage to small, medium and multi-national companies.
  • Analyze Mexico related market conditions to ensure pricing and service development including sharing competitive developments across the company marketing and sales organization.
  • Gather business intelligence from customers and other sources to identify High-Value-Targets within Mexico.
  • Provide leadership and support to the extended sales team to maintain and grow book of business specific to Mexico.
  • Direct the implementation of new customers within Mexico by coordinating the integration of relevant team members.
  • Maintain and develop the Mexico business strategy and conduct the required periodic conference calls with all pertinent stakeholders.
  • Oversee sales revenue generation, profit and/or expense objectives for Mexico.
  • Drive and execute all pricing related inquiries for Mexico.
  • Manage all specialist/coordinator positions reporting directly to the Director, Mexico Operations.
  • Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
