About the position

The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and coordinating digital and traditional marketing strategies to attract potential customer revenue. This role provides strategic leadership for Monro’s overall marketing, including website, internet, traditional and other marketing activities. The Marketing Director coordinates the work of the Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Creative Design Manager, and Brand Content Specialist as it relates to marketing, including website design and content development/management, search engine optimization, paid search, traditional/print, CRM acquisition and retention initiatives, and brand creative development. Additionally, the role involves managing web analytics and other trends, conducting competitive analysis of online features and functionality, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for Monro’s overall marketing.
  • Coordinate work of Digital Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, Creative Design Manager, and Brand Content Specialist.
  • Manage website design and content development/management.
  • Oversee search engine optimization and paid search initiatives.
  • Implement traditional/print marketing strategies.
  • Lead CRM acquisition and retention initiatives.
  • Develop brand creative content.
  • Coordinate work of agencies involved in executing Monro’s marketing activities.
  • Manage web analytics and assess performance to recommend improvements.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of online features and functionality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years working in an Advertising Agency or Consumer Marketing organization.
  • Experience in website development, marketing plan development, and internet marketing (SEO/SEM/PPC).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Possess critical and creative thinking abilities.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, develop and lead a team.
  • Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents.
  • Ability to take initiative in identifying problems and establishing facts.
