Requirements

  • 5+ years project management / construction / engineering / technical theater related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software required.
  • Solid analytical and strategic skills.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate employees, management, stakeholders and relevant authorities.
  • Work well under aggressive project schedules with a positive attitude.
  • Problem-solving through effective and collaborative process improvement.
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the construction field.
  • Strong and effective communicator, both verbally and written, with ability to interface with various departments of the company, as well as outside vendors and contractors.
  • Good organizational, analytical and problem solving ability.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to orchestrate and execute multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment using resources effectively and efficiently.
  • Represent the company at all times with high moral and ethical conduct.
  • Proven ability to work independently with little to no direction and maintain a strong focus on business priorities and be persistent in follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering/Technical related field is preferred.
  • Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Sharepoint experience preferred.
  • Prolog management system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and managing all overall ride/show engineering correspondence for multiple projects.
  • Working in tandem with compliance teams to ensure accurate reporting of deliverable milestones.
  • Ensuring that overall administrative/document controls functions that are critical to the development of large multi-faceted themed attractions are completed in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Performing at a higher level of oversight of all the related project development, facility, and construction functions, including accurate and timely entry of ride/show action items and/or processes; transmittals, daily reports, project meeting minutes; and tracking systems for ride show engineering project team.
  • Balancing priorities of multiple projects, anticipating various action items or processes to ensure milestones are met. This includes, but is not limited to Transmittals for Document Controls, Vendors, and any tier Sub Contractor; Meeting Minutes, Request for Information (RFIs), Correspondence, Spreadsheets, Quality Check of Directives/Potential Change Orders (PCOs), Daily Reports.
  • Initiating and Closing Out documentation based on established policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating with Responsible Individuals (RIs) to track and report status updates to Project Management on an on-going basis for vendor deliverables. This includes but not limited to assisting the RI’s in organizing and developing scopes of work for projects from multiple disciplines.
  • Assisting with Design review sessions by initiation of design reviews, administration and close out.
  • Actively participating in the compliance management process.
  • Partnering with RI's, Compliance Managers, and Project leadership to maintain accurate documentation of deliverables in a database that is reported up to senior executives.
  • Partnering with the Legal Dept to communicate with contractors/vendors as needed by providing project updates, scope revisions and schedule changes to ensure contractors/vendors.
  • Remaining informed on multiple projects' status at all times.
  • Partnering with Finance to ensure accurate commitment of project expenditures and to ensure timely and accurate processing of Directives and Change Orders.
  • Identifying ways to improve the efficiency/accuracy of the project documentation process which is critical to maintenance of overall project schedule.
  • Preparing overall project correspondence.
  • Assisting with the implementation and compliance of established project documentation policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
