About the position

The Senior CADD Technician II position at PRIME AE Group involves performing a variety of design assignments under the guidance of a project manager. The role focuses on developing design solutions, drafting construction documents, and ensuring project adherence to client-specific guidelines. This position is integral to the project team, supporting all phases of design and documentation while utilizing advanced CADD software.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior designers to develop design solutions and implement them into drafted construction documents.
• Support and assist project teams in the development of a project's design, documentation, and administration during all phases of the project.
• Utilize Autodesk Civil 3D software to perform drafting for grading, plan/profiles, details, water, sanitary, storm, paving, and drainage to produce site development and municipal construction plans.
• Develop complex sequences of construction as it relates to avoiding interruption of service during construction.
• Track project schedules and take accountability for delivering on-time and on-budget.
• Assess the feasibility and soundness/validity of proposed engineering evaluations.
• Coordinate directly with the team and management on a day-to-day basis.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or higher in a related field or 2-year technical degree or certificate of completion from an accredited designer/drafter course (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years working as a CADD Technician related to architectural projects with demonstrable leadership capabilities.
• Highly proficient with the most current version of Revit.
• Have working knowledge of CAD Standards, Revit features and annotation styles, surfaces, line styles, sheet set manager and drawing setup.
