About the position

The Senior Business Information Management Analyst at TD is a key role that provides technical leadership in information management to support data and analytics initiatives. This position involves working independently as a senior lead, managing activities related to the analysis, design, and support of business data management solutions across various projects. The analyst will leverage their expertise to drive data-centric solution development, ensuring alignment with enterprise data models and business requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business technical leadership across a broad range of information management functions.
  • Analyze, design, and develop data repositories, warehouses, and ETL processes.
  • Support data modeling capabilities to structure business data for various uses.
  • Develop data road maps and information management strategies.
  • Lead projects with moderate to complex risk and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve issues and ensure requirements are met.
  • Conduct meaningful analysis to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Mentor and coach team members in data management practices.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in business administration, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficient knowledge of various data sources, tools, and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Experience with large datasets and familiarity with big data technologies.
  • Skill in using analytical software tools and reporting techniques.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior experience with population identification and querying TD applications.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., Pivot Table, Vlookup).
  • SQL skills.
