Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a business analyst or a similar role (prior DHS or TSA experience is a significant plus).
  • BS/BA degree required
  • Must be able to pass a Public Trust background investigation.
  • Proven ability to manage tasks with minimal oversight, including scheduling, tasking, and meeting strict project milestones.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) System, Advanced Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to present information to senior leadership as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Team Lead for the Strategic IT Development Planning and Business Requirements Development team.
  • Partner with users, stakeholders, and TSA Managers to define business requirements, improve information accessibility, and streamline reporting processes.
  • Assist with the maintenance, updates, and delivery of strategic documentation, including Program Increment Planning and Strategic IT Roadmaps.
  • Perform detailed, cross-functional analyses of business processes and business requirements mapping activities, including development, maintenance, and tracking of Epics, Features, Stories, and the associated acceptance criteria.
  • Document, track, and communicate risks, issues and mitigation strategies to stakeholders, providing recommendations to gain efficiencies, increase effectiveness, and eliminate or reduce the impact of identified barriers.
  • Assist with the maintenance, updating, and delivery of business processes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), briefing packages for IPT meetings, PMRs, IPRs, program/project status meetings, strategic planning sessions, working group sessions, executive leadership meetings, program/project assessments, Agile IT development ceremonies/milestones/meetings, and other required meetings and other related documentation as required.
