About The Position

As the Senior Brand Manager for Sales Strategy & Planning, you will act as the commercial owner for assigned brands and categories within the US market. You will be responsible for translating global brand strategy into a cohesive go-to-market (GTM) plan that delivers strong retail execution and business performance. This role owns the US P&L for the portfolio, drives strategic decision-making, and ensures alignment across Global Business Teams, US Marketing, and Customer Planning teams.

Requirements

  • Experience managing a portfolio and P&L within the US market.
  • Strong expertise in brand management, category strategy, pricing, and portfolio optimization.
  • Proven ability to translate global strategies into local market execution.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Global Teams).
  • An analytical mindset with experience leveraging data from sources like POS and Circana.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams and driving performance.
  • Experience in consumer products, preferably in toys, entertainment, or with licensed brands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and localization of brand and category strategies for the US market.
  • Define portfolio architecture, product prioritization, and assortment strategy across all channels.
  • Own and lead the US go-to-market (GTM) strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial milestones and retailer line reviews.
  • Develop brand playbooks, sales narratives, and commercial tools to support sell-in and retail execution.
  • Own the financial performance of the portfolio, including P&L management, forecasting, pricing, and profitability optimization.
  • Leverage POS, Circana, and other market data to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary interface with Global Business Teams to ensure alignment on the innovation pipeline and brand priorities.
  • Lead key selling moments, including Toy Fair, line reviews, and retailer presentations.
  • Lead and develop a team, setting clear priorities and fostering strong commercial and strategic capabilities.
