LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. About the Digital Engagement & Marketing (DIG) Team The Digital Marketing (DIG) team drives LA28’s overarching marketing and fan engagement efforts. Within DIG, the Integrated Marketing function is responsible for developing holistic go-to-market plans for all fan-facing programs. We lead the marketing approach, messaging strategy, narrative direction, campaign development, and execution for the portfolio of LA28 programs—inclusive of Ticketing, Volunteer, Torch Relay, Mascot, and more. Integrated Marketing works cross-functionally with our internal digital counterparts (who manage LA28’s social, web, email, and app platforms), as well as a wide range of internal Functional Areas and external stakeholders. Ultimately, it is our responsibility to bring it all together, ensuring every program reaches the right audience with the right message, across the right platforms, at the right time. About the Role As the Sr. Associate, Integrated Marketing Operations, you will serve as the project management and operational backbone for our fan-facing marketing programs. In this role, you will orchestrate complex projects while consistently bringing a sharp marketing perspective to the table. We are looking for someone whose skill set goes beyond top-notch coordination. You possess the marketing intuition to spot when a creative brief lacks key insights, when a content asset misaligns with strategic objectives, or when platform strategies fail to build upon one another. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategy and operations, adding value to the creative work while seamlessly managing timelines, workflows, and relationships across internal teams, external agencies, and sports league partners. This person will be a key protector of the LA28 brand and a key contributor in building a legacy for the Olympic and Paralympic Movement. The Sr. Associate, Integrated Marketing Operations role will report to the Sr. Director, Integrated Marketing on the Digital Engagement and Marketing team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience blending project management and strategic marketing within a high-volume advertising agency, in-house marketing team, or major entertainment/sports brand
  • Extensive experience launching multi-faceted campaigns that span digital, social, experiential, and traditional channels
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a value-add partner to cross functional teams
  • Proven track record of managing relationships and projects involving high-profile external partners, clients, or governing bodies, from initial briefing through to final delivery
  • Advanced proficiency with industry-standard project management software (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet)
  • Comfortable integrating AI tools into day-to-day work, from drafting to research to workflow optimization
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational driver for integrated marketing projects. Create and manage project plans, workflows and timeline while ensuring that the marketing intent is preserved at every stage of execution
  • Guarantee executional consistency across LA28's diverse portfolio. Proactively identify opportunities, flag potential strategic misalignments, and solve problems before they impact final GTM plans
  • Provide notes, recaps, and presentations to share updates with key stakeholders
  • Lead the operational relationship with external agencies ensuring their work is on time and on brief
  • Act as a key marketing liaison for external stakeholders, including the International Federations, National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, and Professional Leagues
  • Act as a strategic thought partner. Review briefs, creative with a critical marketer's eye, offering a strong POV to ensure deliverables align with overarching campaign goals
  • Be able to manage permitting, contract submission, and additional paperwork
