About the position

The Sr. Associate Manager of Category Planning at Mondelēz International is responsible for developing and executing selling programs related to category innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans. This role serves as a key link between Customer Business Teams and Category Innovation, ensuring alignment of strategies with customer needs. The position requires building actionable category plans, providing thought leadership on brand initiatives, and optimizing category performance through data analysis and insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute selling programs for assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans.
  • Act as a key linkage between Customer Business Teams and Category Innovation, Marketing, and Equity teams.
  • Build category and customer plans collaboratively with Category teams, Insights, and Customer Business Teams.
  • Serve as the internal Category expert and create compelling, actionable, and measurable category plans.
  • Provide thought leadership on brand and category initiatives, including promotional strategy and budget planning.
  • Lead the delivery of category dashboards and recommend corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Assess critical baseline volume opportunities and risks, leading initiatives to optimize category performance.
