The Senior HR Business Analyst at Oracle plays a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience by implementing innovative system improvements and managing complex HR projects. The role is hybrid, based in Rocklin, CA, and focuses on translating business needs into technical requirements while collaborating with global teams to drive operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and process varied and complex tasks requiring sound, independent judgment.
  • Translate business needs to technical requirements and manage system/application implementation.
  • Participate in and lead multiple projects aimed at improving operational business and customer experience.
  • Define clear business requirements and translate them into functional/system requirements.
  • Scope projects and improvement efforts, articulating a clear future vision and business value.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and advocate for solutions.
  • Advance issues and problems to management to mitigate risks.
  • Use design thinking and seek customer feedback to enhance the customer experience.
  • Mentor and support peers through guidance, training, and feedback.
  • Share best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness in processes.
  • Consult on solutions and partner with business groups to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to deliver quality design solutions.
  • Identify root causes of issues and recommend improvements to customer experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Create and facilitate training workshops and socialize best practices.
  • Prepare teams for change through open communication and training.
  • Collaborate with global partners across multiple organizations and teams.
  • Partner with HRIS and IT to manage technical issues and advocate for improvements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision and effectively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability to assess complex data and identify trends to drive business decisions.
  • Experience in applying project management methodologies to complete high visibility projects.
  • Skilled in applying design thinking to evaluate user experience.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement methodologies to identify strategies and innovations.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to represent problems and educate others.
  • Customer-service oriented with a proactive approach to learning.
  • Practical experience in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
