About the position

Ultimate Image Printing is seeking experienced sign painters to join their fabrication and electrical sign department. The role involves using various tools and systems to prepare and paint signs, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Work with Mathews Paint Matching System and 3M paint sprayers to prepare signs for painting.
• Sanding, cleaning, and prepping parts for paint application.
• Utilize spray guns or rollers for painting tasks.
• Understand and apply knowledge of signage types, including halo letters and front-lit signs.

Requirements

• Ability to read and process written instructions.
• Ability to measure using a standard measuring tape.
• Understanding of decimals and fractions of measurements (inches, mm, cm, etc.).
• Proficiency in using handheld power tools (sanders, drills, rivet gun, etc.).
• Basic computer experience.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and processes.
• Physical ability to perform tasks while standing, bending, lifting, walking, twisting, and sitting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in automotive or sign painting.
• Familiarity with signage concepts and types.
