About the position
The Sports Turf Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of professional sports fields, particularly focusing on the Williamsport Crosscutters Ballpark. This role involves leading renovations, new construction projects, and supporting field maintenance accounts while ensuring client satisfaction and developing business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the Williamsport Crosscutters Ballpark Field systems through design review, renovations, and maintenance.
- Support companywide sports turf initiatives including employee training and client interface.
- Create and complete technical reports, project reviews, and bid proposals.
- Support key high-profile projects to ensure client satisfaction.
- Evaluate bid specifications and drawings, working with Project Management Teams.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor or associate degree in turf or 3 years' experience as an assistant professional baseball turf manager.
- Working knowledge of day-to-day field maintenance operations.
- Prior experience working on sand-based field systems.
- Strong work ethic and capability to work long hours.
