About the position
Ripenstein Cards is a growing entertainment technology company dedicated to providing sports card enthusiasts with a trusted community to participate in card breaks. We are currently focused on breaking basketball products but have plans to expand to other sports in the future. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sports Card Breaker. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to showcase your passion for sports cards, engage with our community, and contribute to the growth of our brand through live streaming and content creation. This part-time position will require you to work on the Whatnot app Monday through Friday during the morning/day and some weekends, averaging about 20-25 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours. As a Sports Card Breaker, you will host live sports card breaks on various platforms, providing an entertaining and interactive experience for viewers. You will create engaging and high-quality content surrounding sports cards, including reviews, discussions, and analysis. Interacting with the audience through live chat, social media, and other platforms will be essential to building a strong community. Staying up-to-date with sports card market trends, player performances, and industry news will also be a key part of your responsibilities. We are looking for someone who has a genuine enthusiasm for sports cards and a solid understanding of the sports card market. Experience in live streaming is important, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Maintaining honesty and integrity in all interactions is crucial, as you will need to accurately represent the contents of the packs and provide transparency to the community.
