About the position
As a Sponsored Residential Provider through Dominion Waiver Services, you will empower individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to reach their highest potential. This role involves creating a tailored living environment that promotes independence and connection to community resources, helping individuals build essential life skills and achieve personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Empower individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to build life skills.
- Create a tailored living environment that meets the individual's needs.
- Assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
- Provide behavioral support and other necessary interventions as required.
- Maintain documentation and complete required reports using a computer.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- 1 year of professional experience providing direct support for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to operate a computer and possess strong writing skills.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
- Must have a clean driving record and a reliable and safe vehicle.
- Must pass a thorough environmental inspection.
