About the position
The Spine Sales Associate at Stryker plays a crucial role in promoting and selling spinal products to healthcare professionals, including surgeons. This position requires a blend of clinical knowledge and sales acumen, as the associate will be responsible for case preparation, product selection, and maintaining inventory across various accounts. The role is field-based, necessitating regular interaction with customers and the ability to respond to emergencies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist in selling, promoting, and marketing Stryker Spine products to surgeons and healthcare professionals.
- Gain clinical competency in spinal anatomy and Stryker Spine products.
- Prepare for and cover surgical cases to provide value to surgeons, patients, and facilities.
- Manage consignment and loaner inventory based on surgical needs.
- Advise on product selection and address customer inquiries regarding product functionality.
- Respond to customer complaints and escalate issues to the Regional Sales Manager as necessary.
- Keep Sales Representatives informed about territory developments and progress.
- Collaborate with the Sterile Processing Department to ensure proper surgical case preparation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Associate's degree, or Medical Certification (CST, PT, CPT, etc.) with at least 2 years of related experience.
- High School Diploma with at least 4 years of related experience.
- 4+ years of active duty military service.
