This full-time, school-based position in Keller, TX, focuses on gap coverage from January through February and welcomes both monolingual and bilingual candidates. The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy services to support students' communication needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication needs.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- State license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
